Judging is perfectly OK

Last night was Meri and my big push to get her photos ready for the county fair.  I picked them up from the photo department on Wednesday night and have been admiring them.

She wrote up her 4H goals for each and glued them to black core board.  They're ready for me to take down to the judging over my lunch today.

What do you think?

 Robot from Swetsville Zoo.

Leon

a silk rose from her room

Leon in his fort being Superman.  This reminded Meri of the sad song about reluctant Superman.
 I can't stand to fly
I'm not that naive
Men weren't meant to ride
With clouds between their knees
Superman by Five for Fighting

 Swetsville Zoo

Off the balcony at Maddy's host family.  Views of the mountains and lake.

And favorites that I'm pretty sure will get picked for the State Fair...  At least I HOPE so!

I'm going to be attending a parade tomorrow with Robb marching with his band.  I won't have Leon with me, so I'll probably just watch from the car.  This is the one that Sluggy attended with me last year.

Have a great weekend all!

Good luck to MEri! This brings back good memories of my old 4 H Days, but we were scrambling the night before to get everything done, and our records updated. Do they still need to keep records? My kids were in Boy and Girls Scouts, but I do miss the 4 H program.

The photos are great! I hope she gets picked!
Has it been a year already? Wow. Are you like me and don't know what to do with yourself when you don't have a little with you? Enjoy the parade.
