It has been a busy week. I can NOT believe it's Friday already! I had such high hopes for the accomplishments I'd complete during the week... But as it stands, my to do list at work is still pretty big... I think a few things got added.
I wrote down everything that I did yesterday and sent it to my boss. I used to do that every day to keep me focused, but this past summer, as you know, was crazy busy and I got out of the habit. I decided to get BACK in the habit and just looking at the list of things I'd done, impressed even me. A lot was done, but a lot was only partially done or not touched. I guess prioritizing takes priority today...
What's up with the cheesy photo you ask?? Let me tell you.
My sister got a fantastic deal on some white cheddar cheese. I thought it was only 20 pounds for $30, which is STILL great! But it turns out it was 40 pounds. Yikes!
Who can say, "I want a plunger for Christmas!!!"?
Since it was frozen, it's pretty crumbly, but the flavor is really good! I've separated it out into probably 8-10 bags, given a lot a way and frozen several bags of it. We've used it in tacos, pizzas, snacking and many and various other things. Meri doesn't like it on pizza, so we'll see what I make tonight... It'll probably be with this. She can go to a friends for supper or make her own!
A friend's daughter is coming over tonight to see if I can do alterations on her wedding dress. It needs to be shortened and possibly a bustle built in. Can I do it??
Who knows?
We'll find out tonight.
The lawn looks so shaggy... So I think I know where my priorities need to be over the weekend.
SEWING!!!! :)

That's a lot of cheese! I need a sewing weekend, but not this weekend. Beth Moore simulcast at our church and Jacob's birthday!
A lot of posts this month so far on priorities-whether time or money. I have a ton of skirts that for some reason, the hem came loose. I am not much of a sewer-not one at all, but I think I can get them hemmed back, if I use the exact same thread color, no one will notice my lowly skills. This will both solve priority of saving money-or rather not spending money foolishly, and increasing my wearable wardrobe. these have been sitting around not used, but are ones I really like-timeless. Have you had the rain too? Our yard is looking like a pasture and we could feed a small farm of horse and cattle.
