You know those times when you're in the real world and not online and something strikes you funny? Robb and I talked about it and just laughed and laughed and he said, "Your blog post tomorrow is practically writing itself."
Yeah - I can't remember it.
So you're stuck with what I plan to do this weekend. Meri's last marching band performance at a football game is tonight and I plan to get popcorn and bring a heavy blanket. It's getting chill here.
Tomorrow I plan to go to a pumpkin patch/apple orchard with the kids, whichever ones aren't working, and pick some apples. Then buy pumpkins from a friend up the road. Maybe they can carve them too if there's time.
I plan to agonize over what to wear to the bride's wedding tomorrow and then will settle on something that I look hideous in. I typically do... Maddy is going to go with me, since Meri has to work. MAYBE Leon will go too, but I doubt he'll want to.
I plan to veg when we get home and just talk into the evening until about 9pm and then crash hard.
With any luck, I might get to go to lunch with a cousin who will be in town to see his daughter at college. But he hasn't communicated since Sam's memorial so I don't know... I'll shoot him an email today.
Sunday is wide open. I wonder what's showing at the Classic movie theater?... hmmm.. Seeing the Princess Bride on the big screen a couple weeks ago was wonderful! But knowing my luck, it's probably Platoon or something I never want to see again, even if it's on the big screen...
Well, whatever we do, it's going to be AWAY from my desk!!! Woohoo!!!
