The Witching weekend!

It was such a full weekend!  Starting on Thursday night.  I went to Meri's play THREE times!

Count em.

Three!

The dress rehearsal on Thursday night, then performances both Friday and Saturday night.  Each one had their ups and downs, but funny.

Here is Meri's performance.

And how she looked up close.  Her hair was amazing!  They crimped, powdered and teased her hair until it was about to cry.

SO WITCHY!!!

Maddy and Matthew came down from the college to surprise her on Friday night with Team Meri shirts for them and Leon!  Meri loved it!

And now Maddy has a budding business as many people placed orders after seeing this on FB.  Robb posted the photo just before the play started.  Little did we know Meri was checking her phone behind stage most of the evening and saw it.  So it wasn't a total surprise at the end of the play...  oh well, it turned out great!

Afterwards we went for ice cream and there was an incident I won't talk about here.  But I'm guessing that since Matthew was in pain, Maddy drove the whole way back to the school that night instead of trading off like they'd planned.  They got back to the college safely and Maddy got on her choir tour bus early the next morning as she'd planned.  I'm so glad they were able to attend!

And let's also say that Leon has the makings of a doctor.  His bedside manner is fantastic but I suspect there could be lots of law suits because he hugs and kisses the patients, a lot...
