My back is a mess... My spine and one shoulder blade just about killed me when I was just laying in bed yesterday morning. So I hit up my chiropractor after work and Leon watched. He let Leon press the buttons to raise the bed and I thought I might fall off. I'm somewhat better today, but may need to go for a follow up tomorrow morning.
Maybe we've sparked an interest in the boy! It would be awesome to have a chiropractor in the family! Because maybe he'd crack us for free if I keep him in Legos and Goghurts...
We're also pushing the ministry when he thought it would be really cool to wear a robe and stand up in front of everyone at church. Robb had to be up there for something and Leon noticed.
Little kids have big eyes. They just have to get them focused on the important things for a little bit.
Anyway, for now, even though he's not following our instructions yet, he will the Lego and Bionicle people and that's good for starters.
Last night, I read him the Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs book that he got from Maddy and Matthew. Those were pretty blood thirsty dinosaurs...
It was very funny and reminded me a little of Tiny Toons.
We LOVED Tiny Toons! Mainly because of the jokes that kids wouldn't get but the parents would. For example. When they did the movie spoofs, the red shirt characters were sent in one direction and the rest went another. All of the sudden, there was tons of screaming from the red shirts. Duh!!! You knew someone was going to die on Star Trek if they wore the red shirts!
WEAR THE BLUE!!!
You'd think the extras would get that....
So this book had those types of jokes in it too. Several months ago, Matthew had read that to Leon for practice for one of his classes and Leon remembered. Pretty cool...
Have a great weekend! I'm planning on sewing an emergency poodle skirt for someone in Meri's play that's coming up. I loaned out Maddy's old one to another of Meri's friends and can't find the one that I made for Meri, that she wanted to loan out also. So we improvise...
I'm also planning on perhaps fixing part of the fence where the dogs broke the boards off and climbed under yesterday. One of my rhubarb plants is toast now. grrr I had to park the snowblower in front of the hole this morning so they wouldn't try that again today.
It's not a good day when suddenly one of the dogs is ringing the front door bell.

I still love tiny toons. You always have so much going on. Maybe its the weather because my back is killing me. I think Den hits me in the middle of the night. Yeah, I'll blame him.
