Breaking Bones

I suppose I should have broken yesterdays post into about three.  Not much going on here.

We baked a turkey yesterday afternoon that was supposed to be for the Mother's Day that wasn't.  Just before dinner, Robb decided to hide out upstairs as he had now caught my flu.  No supper for him. 

And Meri had to be at work/homework meeting until later.  So I cut up the turkey for myself and my MIL and froze a ton of turkey broth to be used on some future date.

Put the turkey carcass into the crock pot with some water and am awaiting the next batch of turkey broth...

The Wish bone is drying nicely on the window sill.

I live a boring life when the boy isn't around...

Robb is still under the weather this morning.  He was so good to me when I was sick this weekend, so I've been trying to repay him by getting him whatever he needs.  However I think I need to pitch the fan that had been in the garage.  It was probably out there for a reason... like, it doesn't work.  I found him another one.  Brought him up his laptop and my sewing desk is now his work desk.  He's going to work from home if he feels up to it.

Meri has the end of the year vocal concert where everyone cries tonight.  Looking forward to that and the camera is primed, charged and ready!  Not sure who is going to be able to go yet...

I heard that some of our visitors from our B&B portion of the week may have come down with symptoms too.  yuck.

I think I know what MY wish will be.
