Pray Together, Stay Together

I want to wish my parents a wonderful 59th wedding anniversary.  It has been a long long road with a few bumps in the road.

Ok - at least eight anyway.  This is me and my 6 of my 7 siblings along with the parents a few years back at a wedding of a nephew.

This was some of us as littles.  I was the cutie on my mom's lap.

Mom and Dad's 35th wedding anniversary party.

Last Christmas, which was a tough one.  The previous January, Dad had taken a fall from a train that he was working on and broke his back as well as lots of other things.  Due to that and encroaching dementia issues with Mom, she had to move to a nursing home.  Dad was there for a time while recuperating, but has since recovered and is now living in his own place.

So this is their second anniversary apart, but 59 total together.  He sees her every day when he's able.

But nothing, no how, no way will ever break up the band...

Happy anniversary you two!!  I love you.
