Feeling Lucky

I broke into my pattern last night for my wedding outfit.  As luck would have it, both patterns we purchased, for me and for Maddy, are vintage-y Vogue, so they're hard to find, especially in our sizes...
My outfit will consist of the bias cut tank top and skirt along with the lace jacket.  I hope...  The pattern that I got was several sizes too small for me, BUT with the knowledge that I learned from Joi Mahon this fall, I'm ready for the challenge.

So I traced out the pattern instead of cutting it and got to work.  If you ever need to resize a pattern, get Joi's book or attend one of her presentations.  Amazing!  SO fast to resize.  Who knew??!

Let's just say the pattern was a size zero and I needed probably four sizes higher.
Let's just go with that.

So the tank top pattern pieces are ready for me to find some sample fabric in my stash and try it out.  Probably tonight if I'm lucky.

Have a great weekend!

Exciting!! That's a great pattern and doesn't look too difficult. Good luck!
