We attended a fundraiser dinner for the local emergency crews last night. They were allowing kids to explore in the life flight helicopter just up until we got there.
If you're recognizing our local football field, you're right. That's where the dinner was held and we got to sit in the bleachers. I'm thankful it wasn't raining anymore, but then again, we'd be sitting out of the chill in the firestation if it was... so whichever.
THEN while we were eating, the life flight guys got a call and had to dash. So it was exciting for Leon to see the helicopter take off even though he couldn't sit in it.
He DID get to sit in the ambulance though and thought that was pretty cool. I think he's either considering a job as an EMT or just wanting to ride in it as a hurt person.
I'm banking on the 2nd option.

He's a guy so probably the 2nd option is the most likely right now. You never know about the future though!
An ambulance rider is better than an ambulance chaser, in my opinion. ;)
