Mittens, Pumpkins and Bats! Oh MY!

Here are some of my projects that I sewed up on Saturday.  On Sunday, I purchased a sweater shaver....  Apparently when you felt wool, it can get a little too fuzzy with a little pillage.

The one on the left has been shaved.  Not sure if you can tell.

The blue one on the left has NOT been shaved.  And it's really not bigger than the other one...
Not sure why it looks like that.

No school yesterday!!  So Meri had some friends over in the afternoon and they carved up some pumpkins.  They were having too much fun, so I had to take a pic to record the laughter.

I think Meri did leaves... Not entirely sure, but it looked cool.

So a cat, Pennywise, leaves and BOO!

WITH a flash, it's bright as day.

Leon's pumpkin is rotting nicely and these kids picked on it unmercifully, not understanding the T-Rex logic.  Eyes on the side of the head and teeth out front.  He's FIVE!!!  And it totally makes sense!

As I browsed through my OLD photos, I couldn't find an example of when Meri was 5 and carved a pumpkin.  oh well...

Leon hung up lots of rubber bats that I found in a cupboard yesterday and they're hanging around in the dining room or lounging on the couch to frighten any possible nappers.

Have a batty day!

I do need to put out a few Halloween decorations, but I will think about that another day. Do you think Meri and friends would like to make a road trip to carve me some pumpkins? Or Leon? I am not opposed to a wonky T Rex.

Glad to hear that Leon is in charge of the Halloween decor...bats are my fave.

Did you sew or knit those mittens? Either way, you're really fast!
