We attended the Honor Choir performance last night. Leon was NOT very happy that we interrupted his video to take a picture...
What a grumpy goober! He was even worse this morning at breakfast.
Apparently after a shorter than usual night, you DON'T introduce "egg boats" (aka deviled eggs) for breakfast.
I may have gotten loud regarding his rudeness. sigh.
Anyway, the local college choir sang first, then the high school kids.
It was beautiful!!! And what an
honor that Meri was chosen along with only one other student from our high school to join
them.
She spent all day Sunday and Monday practicing really tough songs with a bunch of kids that she didn't know.
So it was a busy night with no sewing or really anything else. But you know when it's worth it.
a recording of my elbow. and a bonus.

Ugh. I feel for you, but you seem to be very patient...not one of my most abundant qualities. In fact, rude little goobers give me an almost visceral reaction. I once snatched a device out of my own little goober's hand when she dared to look at it during a sibling's concert, managing to scratch her hand in the process. Not sure how she managed to sneak it in with her, as our rule was no devices when you are out with us. You can watch the concert, (or do whatever it is we are doing) or stay home with your device and a sitter, and be in bed by the time we return. Woe betide you, though, if your behavior makes me leave to take you to the lobby I was expecting a shriek when I took her device, and expected to have to cart her out to the lobby to sit in the penalty corner, but according to DH, the look on my face when I grabbed the device sent chills down even his spine.
They do grow up quickly, though, don't they?
