Second attempt

I got settled into the week finally...  It's clear Tuesday afternoon!  oh well.

I managed to fit a little sewing into my day yesterday over breaks.  

I am NOT using the tips in the pattern for making mitered corners and this skirt has miters everywhere...  

Ok two places, but it seems like everywhere.

I've already made this skirt in a woven fabric for Thanksgiving, but it's too big I think.  The waist is fine, but too much ease in the hips.  Makes it look baggy...  So this one is next size down and we'll see what happens!

I've got plans for the brown woven one to have about 4 inches taken off the right side, so it will look pretty lopsided...  

Double asymmetrical, here I come!
