This was towards the end of the day yesterday. It was "Crazy Hair" day! I got out our trusty hair glue gel and while he worked on his breakfast, I got to work. He wanted a multitude of spikes and ended up looking like Sonic the Hedgehog just a bit.
He's sad in these pics because I needed to wash it out as best as I could in the kitchen sink before he went to his dad's for the evening. We got "most" of it out after two washes, rinses and repeats, but he'll need to soak in the tub again tonight to get the rest.
His hair has never felt so silky!
or rather, clean.
Today's "Hat Day" so no worries! He couldn't find the Mario hat that he wanted to wear so he settled for a Fort Collins baseball cap that Maddy brought back from one of her summers there.
I am SO happy it's Friday!!!!!!

OOh-my hair is feeling dry these days. I should give myself a spiky hair day. I'm glad he had the hat day to follow.
I know the kids love these days at school. I just always wished they were a little easier on the folks who had to make them happen.
Gosh that's smart putting hat day after crazy hair day. Hope they don't have "cut your own hair with scissors day"!!
