Leon's concert is this evening... And I finally got really going on his costume about an hour ago.
It's been crazy busy at work and that rolled into my evening last night.
My sewing evening...
So I had to edit what I was going to do for the costume wings. The cute little scallops had to go.

So did the black edging. I'll just serge up the edges. And nothing is hemmed unless it was cut off the prom dress that way.
Don't worry (my daughters)... it was none of your prom dresses. Ones from my stash.
And the red thing is, I think, a sheet. Don't know, but it was in my stash too. FINALLY getting used!
I was able to cut the wing pieces out after I FINALLY got off work last night and had it laid out on the bed. I gave Leon a preview.
He said it looks COOL!!!!
So Robb is in charge of dinner tonight and I'm going to frantically finish this thing up.
