Free Time

Because our minivan was in Wisconsin for much of November and December, the garbage stacked up in the garage kind of high...  So now that I have Vanna back and time to actually get the garbage taken to the dump/waste management place, I am SO doing that in my free time today!!!!

The 2nd load is ready to go and I'll go deliver it over my lunch break today.  Whew!  I'm being productive!  It must be that Ginseng tablet I took this morning!

Or I just have a ton of stuff to do...

Meri's old truck is still parked in the garage too.  With about $100 worth of pop cans in the back.  Maybe that will be my next load out of there...  But not today.

We've had two brother-in-laws look at the truck and the fixes might be more than it's worth.  So it might get donated to the Adult and Teen Challenge of the Midlands like a few of our other cars have been in the past.  Woohoo a tax right off!  But I'm going to miss having that truck around to haul things.  darn.  If only we could stumble on another deal like that one was!  The best $200 Meri ever spent.

I've got some artificially sweetened yogurt brewing in the IP right now.  I made some whole milk with sweetened condensed milk yogurt a few days ago and it's for the masses of the house.  So since I wanted to start my diet soon, I figured I better make some lower in calories for me.  I'll put it in a container marked really weirdly so no one else will touch it.  Like - prune pudding...  That'll put off SOME people...

And for your viewing pleasure...  my grand-nephew posing in his pillowcase.  If the camera is pointed towards him, he's smiling with his eyes shut.

Better run.  Have a great weekend!

I wish Tommy still had a truck. Taking recyclables and picking up items off the side of the road were easier when he had a truck!

We have been lucky in that husband has been able to borrow one for things like moving our daughter, but yes, for everyday type things, A truck sure would be nice. I wish he hadn't gotten rid of a little Toyota he had so many years ago.

We had a truck and it was great when we needed it. Now we just rent one from Lowes a couple of times a year
