Some things that make me smile...

When your sister calls you (you know who you are) and asks if your MIL (mother-in-law) had her leg amputated based on a facebook status by your daughter... Who happens to love the MLIA (My Life Is Average) blog and quotes from it as often as possible.

When Meri kisses me good bye in the mornings before she gets on the school bus and tells me she loves me. She is ten so there's not too many years left of that...

When the yard is mowed and looks nice. I spent 2 hours and got the yard in tip top shape in record time! Including all the old leaves left behind from fall. The last 20 minutes was pushing the mower in the rain tho...

Being able to fix a friends prom dress zipper.

Meri learned how to use the rider mower and did the whole back yard for me perfectly! Robb watched from the deck to make sure she was safe.

Having a washing machine that works!

The dogs haven't had a single accident for almost a month in the house! However they do love to track in mud.

A record number of women showed up at our church ladies guild meeting on Saturday!

Figuring out the reason the dish washer takes almost 4 hours to complete... Now it's a LOT less!

When I was able to figure out an article in an old Thread's magazine and sewed a new skirt on Saturday night without a pattern! It fits great and I love it! As soon as I get pics of it, I'll share.

Remembering yesterdays sermon.

Knowing I have Tuesday morning off from work so I can go see Maddy's Jazz performance!

When there is leftover pineapple and fruit dip in the kitchen from the confirmation dinner yesterday!

When I get comments from my bloggy and FB friends!

I hope you're all having a great Monday!

I JUST deactivated my FB, just for a month to see if I could do it. I'll be back, for sure. :)
Okay, my 6 year old asked me yesterday if he could call me "mom" instead of mommy. The "I love yous" are already few and far between. :(

I need to be more content...
My dishwasher completing its cycle in under 2 hours seems like NASA technology now.
The good news is that kisses return when the kid moves out and comes home for visits.
