They were SO energized this morning and sounded wonderful. Maddy had 2 solos! She stayed over night at a friends last night and they practiced various hair styles for prom, which is in 2.5 weeks or 18 days and 8 hours, but who's counting??...
Here is a little snips of Mad's solos on the vibes and her boyfriends on the drum set.
We'll find out later today how they did. I hope they win for their division!
Oh - and Meri came along. She'll do anything to get out of school... And she thought she was ditching band today, but as luck had it, her middle school band teacher (a friend of ours) sat down right next to us. Darn - no band at all today for her anyway.
