Tuesday Ramblings

I made a loaf of bread in the bread machine yesterday. One of our goldens sometimes refuses to come in the house at night when we let them out. But last night she came running in when I started tossing her bread bits from my homemade bread. I'm not going to get cocky about it though because her mood changes every day. Tomorrow the bread probably won't work and the new secret will be offering her my cell phone to get her inside...

Something was sloshing around in the way back of the car I drove this morning. I said to Meri, "Listen to that? Where is that coming from?" She looked at me slyly and played with the flap on her bookbag like she'd been making the noise all along. Apparently I was wrong in how I interpreted her look, because she was only listening with me. I need to have a chart on what her looks mean.

Oh and it was a half gallon of distilled water. It didn't spill or anything but it just sounded a wee bit disconcerting.

Robb had to change the battery in his car so we're all playing musical cars this week until it was fixed. So I'm driving whatever is available when I need it.

And because my son took my car to work with him yesterday. He starts working nights starting tonight so he stayed up all night last evening to try and get acclimated. When he's tired, he's growly. Today should be interesting.

Got the ongoing wedding plans lined up last night with the kids. It is getting together. Just needs money to get it all completed. dang.

We have a new dog in our house. I KNOW! 5 dogs now.. It wasn't my choice and it's living in the lower level with it's owner, so I'll rarely see it. I hope. It's a Pomeranian Chihuahua and looks like either a furry rat or a small Ty stuffed dog that moves. Kind of freaky in a cute sort of way. I got a small dog kennel for it last night off of Freecycle.

Does anyone remember WKRP in Cincinnati? And how Les Nessman pronounced the name of Chi Chi Rodriquez wrong? So now whenever anyone says chihuahua, in my head I pronounce it "cha- hu-ah-hu-ah" and then also in my head say "Ch-eye-ch-eye- Rod-dra-queeze".
