Recharging Batteries

Busy the next few days... High school concerts, middle school band instrument competition, possible birth...

My daughter-in-law's pregnancy got heated up last night, but still no baby. The First Nurse did advise her to go to the emergency room and get some blood pressure and heart rate readings, so they did that. We didn't hear them come back home and I was all ready to text my son this morning until Robb said their shoes were next to the door.

Darn.

I dreamt they were at the hospital last night and for some reason I was climbing through the ceiling tiles to find them.

And I thought my dreams were extremely vivid just when "I" was pregnant...

Meri copied a section of her Taekwondo certificate on my dying ink printer so she could hang it up in her locker at school. I wouldn't let her take the actual certificate. I'm mean that way... That would have been the equivalent of letting her hang her actual birth certificate up at school. Well, not quite, but this is something she's going to want to hang on to. I'll find a frame for it.

I think my next opportunity to sew will be tomorrow night. Unless I'm at the hospital... I've got to get as many baby crib bumper sections done as possible. It's not like the baby will be rolling around immediately following birth, but he should at least have a nice view from where he's laying. I'll get a pic of the crib and possibly the occupant when the bumpers get done.

My camera has fresh batteries in it for whatever comes my way.

Fingers crossed and sending up prayers for the impending birth! Hope you get that sewing done. Can't wait to see pictures of the little guy next to his new bedding. ☺ Happy Thursday, friend!

Ba-by! Ba-by! Ba-by!

That probably won't help in this case, but sometimes it works to get a band to come back out at the end of a concert.

I'm so happy for Meri! And I wouldn't let her bring it to school either. I'm mean too.
And I'm betting on a Saturday baby! You should get a pool going.

Sex. Tell them to have sex. It's true, that orgasms spasms are the same as labor and can jump start labor. And even if it doesn't, what fun they can have trying ;o)
Sorry, yes, I had to go there........
