Where's my iron?

I was able to squeeze in about 1.5 hours over the weekend on the prom dress.  It's in 6 pieces right now instead of 18.  So we're getting closer to having her try it on.  It is completely see through at the moment...  and only goes to the hips....

Keep in mind, I'm just using some sample fabric for fitting purposes.  We don't have the final fabric layout decided on yet.

So needless to say... No pictures.

Next weekend, the girls will be out of town and hopefully I'll have the fabric in hand to get some serious prom'ing done.

Thursday night and Friday night were full of Honor choir concerts.

Saturday morning had a Jazz band competition and then that evening, the high school play.

Sunday afternoon and evening started out with such promise!!!  Then filled up quickly and dashed all my hopes.  Luckily there was a leftover lasagna from Wednesday in the garage fridge and we didn't have to slave over the stove to make dinner...

However we did have to share the oven with all of Maddy's cookies that she was making for her day care kids...

It snowed last night and I don't feel like snow blowing, so I just drove over it to get out this morning.  No drifts... yet...  so we're lucky.  Another concert later today where Meri has a kind of solo!  Gotta get me some fresh batteries for my camera as we gave it a good work out over the weekend.

Leon can say Uh Oh now.  And drop toys over the gate into the dog food.  Gotta watch that kid....

I can't wait to see pictures of the dress and I like seeing your kids and Leon too. I'm surprised that any of your pictures are in focus, I imagine you as a whirlwind running by with a camera.

I miss all the hustle and bustle of having kids at home - enjoy it!

You should post a little video of Leon talking!

In a way, I miss attending kids' performances. In another way, I am glad that is all behind us....until the grandkids start performing.
