And she's OUTTA here!!!

Well, Mabs is off to college so we celebrated by having her cousin over for dinner last night AND with fireworks! 

Actually, the sparklers are only because Ryan happened upon them when trying to find something totally different and we were actually celebrating Amanda's birthday.  

Her twin couldn't make it, so we made it all about Amanda!

Got Maddy off to college on Saturday.  Fourth floor, no air conditioner, no elevator...  Need I say more??!  OH YEAH I DO!!!  

What a hot sticky exhausting day!  I think the girls forgot how much stuff they left in the storage unit when they were packing for this school year...  :)  Luckily they knew some nice, strong, strapping boys who were willing to do a lot of the grunt work!  Thankfully the room is 2 feet wider this year and the futon can jut out into the room.

We hooked up the keurig, microwave, fridge and put together the futon.  Her roommates dad fixed it while we put away 6 wardrobes of clothing.  It's only her and Leah, but you know...

Then an emotional goodbye.  It wasn't as hard as last year, but since this was Meri's first year to see her off in this manner, she took it pretty hard. 

In fact, when she got home, she put together this video for her sister...  It makes me tear up a little this morning!...

 Can you tell the girls have watched WAY too much Jane Austin movies this summer?
