Planning for Lawful Adventures

My baby drove herself all the way to Maddy's campus on Friday night and they had a fantastic weekend.

At least that's what I've gathered from their photos and random stories they each spit out about their 1.5 days together.

At least no fights that I know of! ;)  Meri got to pretend she was a college student and sleep on Maddy's futon, which she hates btw.  She was instructed to bring her swim suit so they attended a water Zumba class.

Maddy was being a bad influence and she and Matthew took Meri on a brewery tour.

I guess it's not THAT bad of an influence because we'd been on a shorter version of that tour before and took Meri with us.  We'd even taken Leon with us...  We, as well as they, had their fill of root beer at the end of the tour.  Then they walked around the grounds.
We hadn't gotten to do that when we were there!

Nice one!!!

And like Will Ferrell's Elf character, the girls packed in as MANY activities as they could in one super fun day.

They also visited a coffee shop.

Attended an Open Mike night.
This might have been Friday night.  I'm sure I don't have the correct order of events, but oh well.

Also a Saturday evening church service.  Yeah - they're rowdy!

AND after getting the necessary supplies at the local Wally-world, they visited the graffiti wall...

Yep, MY girls helped deface a wall in Maddy's college town...

It's a THUG life...

Don't you LOVE those headlights?!

It was all fun and games until the police showed up...

Apparently the graffiti wall is off limits at 11pm.  WHOOPS!  It was 11:15.  They had to show their IDs and since the girls were from Iowa, it took a bit longer to run a check on them.
The policeman asked them about why they were in town and what they'd done that day.

Sounding like Elf, they quickly told all that they had done, concluding with "And um, we attended church tonight."

He also asked what they tagged the wall with.

Meri: "LOVE"
Maddy: "A Bible verse."
Matthew: "A math problem and it looks like it's wrong."

Yeah...   REAL troublemakers!!!!

So now, Meri is contemplating her future.

Well, not really...  I mean she is, but this weekend didn't make her change her plans.

And wow does this girl have them!!!

She left before 6am on Sunday to make it back in time for work.

She's plotting her next adventure now.

I love that story! They will have all kinds of adventures to share with the next generation. I also love Matthew's reply to the police officer~

Such a rowdy trio obviously up to no good hee hee! I don't think I've ever seen a graffitied bible verse before!

I didn't even want to know what my daughter was dragged to by her older brother 8 years ago when she was still in highschool. I'm guessing no church, and no rootbeer.
