These two had a blast while Maddy was home. She is the notorious Tickle Monster.

And this is why he wet himself so much this weekend... :)
Just kidding.
But all good things must come to an end. Maddy was packing up to head to her second student teaching assignment and over estimated how much to pack. She'll be staying with a host family for the next several weeks.
Leon helped her zip up her bag. Quite stylishly, I might add.
and wow, he needs a hair cut!
She headed out on Monday morning and so far has two days of first and second grader teaching under her belt. A student made this and crafted it to look just like her!
I hadn't realized she'd packed a teddy bear... But that is definitely her/my cell phone in her other hand! Other than that, it's dead on.
What time is it?

I bet the kids will love having Maddie in their classroom. Some people just are born to be teachers, and she seems like she has the disposition to do remarkable things in the classroom.
I am glad she had stylish help getting her suitcase closed! He is a really cute fella and I know he adored tickle time as much as she did. Now on to student teaching, a wedding and a new career!
