Here I Come!

I splurged and picked up four heads of cauliflower yesterday.  Had to dig for my food processor and I think I'm missing a couple pieces.  But I used the ones I had and filled two gallon size freezer bags full of riced/pulverized cauliflower.  Not sure when I'm going to use it all but I might make a cauliflower crust pizza tonight for dinner.  We'll see what my energy level is around that time today.


By late in the day yesterday, my knees felt terrible.  I think it's a delayed reaction from last weekend's move. It's been mostly my hips and knees screaming when I get up from sitting, but the last few days just my knees.  Maybe I'm getting better....?

However there are two good things about today.

1) It's Friday!!!! :)
2) I've lost 5 pounds this week!  I am well aware it's because I just started eating healthier and every diet lets you lose 5-7 pounds of water weight the first week, but I'll take it!  What a great boost!

If I could just keep this rate up for another few years, I'll finally get down to my birth weight!!!

Hurrah for losing 5lbs !!! I've been trying as well because someone (a doctor maybe?) told me carrying extra weight is hard on our knees! And my knees hurt like a son of a -----!

Yay! Any loss is a boost in my book. I was doing Trim Healthy Mama (began 2015) and lost 25 lbs. I've put about 15 back on. I know why. Anyway, Donnie has type II diabetes now and decided to lay off the white flour, sugar, potatoes, etc and has lost about that much. He's doing it for health reasons so he's staying motivated. I hope you continue to eat healthy and feel better.
I've heard collagen is good for your joints. I mix mine in coffee and sometimes oatmeal.
