Yearly Review: Part 4: 2011

Well, this should wrap it up for the year 2011 for me. Let's see... October, November & December...

In October, Maddy turned 17 and got her full drivers license! Now she can answer her cell phone in her car if she needs to.Meri's school spirit week brought out a ton of creativity in my little girl. She was Spiderman for day, a college for another. wow.I got inspired by various things to sew some Christmas presents. A very dear neighbor moved out of state on me. I attended the Willow Manor ball and it was fabulous dahling! Managed to put together a list of a ton of homemade Christmas gift ideas and actually made a couple of them. AND I shared my Molasses Biscotti recipe.
Did anyone make any?

In November I found that my mom has early dementia. Wow. That has hit me kind of hard.
I also bared my fabric stash to you. Well... just parts of it, or you'd book me on Hoarders immediately. Robb played bagpipes for the local Veteran's Day celebration. And I discovered that I can really do random... here, here, and here. Thanksgiving in Nebraska!December... That was a rush! Suddenly there were parties everywhere. Plus I discovered I need to exercise more and stay away from glass fragments. I shared a chocolate covered cherry cookie recipe that I was trying for the first time. And had a general Sew & Tell what I was making for some Christmas presents.

It's been a weird year. It started out so differently than how it ended up and I gained a daughter and two dogs in the process.

I thank God for all the blessings He has given us this year and I hope that 2012 is a lot less stressful. But I'm not going to hold my breath...

Have a Wonderful New Years celebration this weekend!

That spiderman costume rocked!! I don't know what I will do when my kids are old enough to drive... be happy or cry? I have another 4-5 years to think about it. Cheers to 2012!

Did your hubby play his bagpipes on New Year's Eve? Did you videotape it?
